Carol Burdette, District 7750 Governor, Addresses the Club at August 28th Meeting

Carol Burdette, our District Governor, will offer an enthusiastic overview of the happenings for Rotary in District 7750 as well as Rotary International.  Serving is a way of life for Carol, and she is passionate about Rotary and serving others.  Carol currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the United Way of Anderson County where she has held that position since 2002.  She served as a member of Pendleton’s town council for ten years before being elected Mayor from 1997-2009.  Ms. Burdette has been honored with the Point the Way Award, the Athena Award, the Leadership Anderson Alumni Award and a presidential citation from her alma mater, Southern Wesleyan University.

She is past president of the Rotary Club of Anderson and is serving her second term as Governor of District 7750.  Carol truly has a Rotarian heart for service.
