State of Education in Greenville and South Carolina- Panel Discussion October 23

The quality of education in a community directly effects the economic development and quality of life in the area. Please join us for a panel discussion on the state of education in Greenville and South Carolina. A panel of educators will discuss how our students compare with students across the nation, how education has changed over the last several decades, the looming teacher shortage in America and what needs to be done to ensure that our students and our country will be positioned for future success.

We will hear from people in the position to set policy as well as teachers who work directly with students. Our panelists will be Dr. Burke Royster, the Superintendent of Greenville County Schools, Dr. Ansel Sanders, President and CEO of Public Education Partners and Kerry Fay, a first grade teacher at Greenbrier Elementary. If you believe that a quality public education should be provided to all children, this is a discussion that you will not want to miss!
