District Governor Robert Hanley to Address Club on August 13, 2019

Robert W. Hanley, Ph.D.

Rob joined the Rotary Club of North Greenville in 1994 and is a member of the Rotary Club of Greenville City Center. He served as Club President in 2000-2001. At the District level he served as Assistant Governor for Area 5 and has served on the District Youth Exchange Committee. He is a graduate of Rotary Leadership Institute.

Rob is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and Sustaining Member.

He graduated cum laude with honors from The Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He has post-baccalaureate degrees from Duke University (Master of Arts in Zoology, and from The University of Alabama (Ph.D. in Biology).

He is employed by TRC Environmental Companies. as a Senior Environmental Consultant. His consulting practice includes biological and wetland surveys, and environmental compliance assistance with an emphasis on Toxic Substances Control Act, and merger and acquisition due diligence.

Rob is a member of First Baptist Church Greenville, where he has served as a Deacon, teaches fifth grade Sunday School, and currently serves on the Faith Formations Committee.
Rob and Lillian have been married for over 30 years. They have three children, Maj. Chris Matthew, Erin and Seth, and two grandsons, Sean and Zach.
